Start with similar exposure groups
Group workers by comparable tasks, agents, duration, intensity and controls. Job title alone may hide important differences in actual exposure.
Define the full protocol
For each group, identify the health effect of concern, baseline need, review frequency, clinical method, trigger for referral and responsible professional.
