A preventive discipline begins with work, exposure and working life—not only with a clinical finding.

01

Begin with the workplace

The worker's health cannot be interpreted in isolation from the work performed, the environment, the duration of exposure and the controls in place. A workplace visit and an exposure history may change the meaning of a clinical finding.

02

Build a connected system

Effective prevention joins occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, safety, ergonomics, nursing, human resources and operations. Each discipline sees a different part of the same risk.

  • Identify hazards and exposed groups
  • Measure and prioritise exposure
  • Design targeted surveillance
  • Act on findings
  • Verify controls and follow-up
03

Protect working life

The purpose is not simply to declare health status. It is to preserve capacity, prevent avoidable harm, support suitable work and help every worker return home with health and dignity protected.
